VigilGuard™ Terms of Service and Privacy Policy

Welcome to VigilGuard (“we,” “us,” “our”). These combined Terms of Service and Privacy Policy (“Agreement”) apply to all visitors and users worldwide. This Agreement also applies to all related VigilGuard products and services, including VigilScan and VendorGuard. By accessing or using our platform — including clicking “Accept Terms and Login” — you confirm that you have read and agree to this Agreement.
1 · Terms of Service
1.1 Scope of Services
VigilGuard provides automated security intelligence tools that analyze public and customer-authorized data to quantify cyber risk. The Services are informational only and do not constitute a security audit, certification, or guarantee of protection.
1.2 Authorized Use
- Use the Services solely for lawful and authorized purposes.
- Do not scan or test systems you do not own or control without explicit permission.
- Ensure you have rights to submit any domain or data you analyze with VigilGuard.
1.3 Intellectual Property
All software, content, and analytics generated by VigilGuard are our intellectual property. You may use results internally for risk assessment but may not redistribute them commercially without written consent.
1.4 Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
The Services are provided “as is” and “as available.” We disclaim all warranties of any kind, express or implied. Findings are probabilistic and may include false positives or omissions. To the maximum extent permitted by law, VigilGuard shall not be liable for any loss or damage arising from use or reliance on our results.
1.5 Availability and Changes
We may modify or suspend the Services at any time for maintenance, security, or business reasons. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated version.
1.6 Governing Law and Jurisdiction
This Agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, U.S.A., and applicable international law. Users outside the U.S. consent to processing of data in the United States.
2 · Privacy Policy
2.1 Information We Collect
- Account data (e.g., email address, organization name).
- Usage data and logs for security and performance monitoring.
- Voluntary communications with our team (e.g., support requests).
2.2 How We Use Information
- To authenticate users and deliver core platform functions.
- To improve scanner accuracy and platform reliability.
- To detect fraud or misuse and maintain security.
- To comply with legal obligations or lawful requests.
2.3 Legal Bases for Processing (EU/UK Users)
- Contract: Processing necessary to provide the Services.
- Legitimate Interest: Service improvement and security monitoring.
- Consent: Marketing or optional communications (where applicable).
2.4 Data Retention and Deletion
We retain data only as long as needed to provide the Services or as required by law. You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us at privacy@vigilguard.com.
2.5 International Transfers
VigilGuard uses U.S.-based infrastructure. When data is transferred from the EEA or UK, it is protected by standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission and UK ICO.
2.6 Your Rights

2.7 Children’s Data
VigilGuard is not directed to children under 16 and does not knowingly collect their personal information.

We use only essential cookies for authentication and session security. We do not serve advertising or third-party tracking cookies.

VigilGuard employs encryption in transit and at rest, strict access controls, and continuous monitoring. No system is completely secure, and you acknowledge that risk when using any online service.
